Check out some of the great opportunities at WorldStoke from hands-on woodfiring and clay demos to hearing from inspiring people like WorldStoke's lead speaker, artist and activist, Emory Douglas.  The talk will be live-streamed to the Blue Goose Event Center and the Penryn Workshop Kiln Complex March 11th, 2021 at 1pm.  We are grateful to have him share his influence and artwork with us.

Wondering... who is Emory Douglas?  Click here to see what MoMA has to say about Emory Douglas' art and influence.  Recently a trove of Douglas' artwork was brought out of MoMA's storage from his graphic design work on the Black Panther Newspaper and October 14, 2021 he joined in the museum's discussion of his artwork in a live-streamed talk.  His event working with emerging artists on November 3, 2021 at MoMA is sold-out.

Douglas was the former Minister of Culture and Revolutionary Artist of the Black Panther Party.  Many of the most recognizable images associated with the Black Panther Party were created by Emory Douglas.
