Bobby Scroggins
Ceramic Artist and Head of Ceramics - The University of Kentucky

Bobby was born, raised, and launched his artist career in Kansas City, MO. As an undergraduate, he was commissioned and created The Leon M. Jordan Monument for a memorial park of the same name in Kansas City. This public monument is the first to be erected honoring an African American leader in Missouri as well as the first in the state to be constructed by an African American artist.
Bobby has continued to receive notable public commissions, and his artwork has garnered numerous awards. He exhibits throughout the United States.

Virginia Scotchie

Virginia is an award-winning artist that exhibits in the United States and abroad. Her artwork is in both public and private collections. She has lectured internationally about her artwork. These are places she has been an Artist in Residence: Italy, Australia, the Netherlands, and Taiwan. |
Ray Gonzales

Graduate and Teaching Credentials - U.S.C. Sacramento
Ray grew up in Lincoln, CA and continues to be an involved community leader for the arts. His artwork has been included in a multitude of gallery exhibits in the Sacramento region, and he has completed commissions for Art-in-Public Places. The Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission represents four of Ray's public art commissions, and there are several others completed in Placer County, California.
Ray is a long-time advocate of the Arts and has been on the board of several non-profit Arts organizations. A legacy of Ray's, as a board member for Lincoln Arts, is his conception and development of "Feats of Clay," which had a 24 year run and became a renowned, international ceramic art competition curated by top U.S. ceramic artists.
