Firing Details
The Penryn Workshop will host the firing components of WorldStoke, loading and firing two wood kilns and multiple raku kilns. To include registrants' clay artwork in the woodfiring, the pieces need to arrive by March 7, 2022. When shipping, place a note in each piece, marking it for woodfire or raku. Use cone 10 clay for woodfiring. The unloading of the wood kilns will be Saturday, March 19, 2022. T. Robert Pacini and Terry Shepherd are leading these firings with overwhelming knowledge and generosity. Woodfiring leads, who will also assist registrants interested in participating in the woodfire, are: Julia Nema – Budapest Hungary Angel Luna – Mesa, AZ Joe Taylor – Chico, CA Heidi Kreitchet – Claremont, CA Jenchi Wu – Ventura, CA For more firing details, contact Rodney Mott. Additional information will be online as WorldStoke approaches. There are many different parts to WorldStoke. Participants can focus on any or all. We expect WorldStoke to be a transformative, extremely impactful, collaboration. We are looking forward to learning from one another. Thank you, Rodney Mott Penryn Workshop |

Paul and Ginny Soldner
|
Join us for an immersive Soldner experience, celebrating Paul and Ginny Soldner on Monday, March 14, starting at 7pm. The celebration will kick off at 7pm with fire dancing outside the Blue Goose Event Center in Loomis, CA, then move inside to enjoy dancing to the live band Wasted Space. Quench your thirst, thanks to Laguna Clay, of beer and wine and non-alcoholic beverages, reminiscing with fellow clay lovers, while viewing the documentary movie about Paul Soldner's life and art, “Playing with Fire,” and a copy of his book Nothing to Hide.
