Wondering... who is Emory Douglas?  Click here to see what MoMA has to say about Emory Douglas' art and influence.  Recently a trove of Douglas' artwork was brought out of MoMA's storage from his graphic design work on the Black Panther Newspaper and October 14, 2021 he joined in the museum's discussion of his artwork in a live-streamed talk.  His event working with emerging artists on November 3, 2021 at MoMA is sold-out.

Douglas was the former Minister of Culture and Revolutionary Artist of the Black Panther Party.  Many of the most recognizable images associated with the Black Panther Party were created by Emory Douglas.
